Indivisible Chester Country is calling on all our elected federal representatives to join Senator Bob Casey in denouncing the statement made by President Donald J. Trump which demeans allies and friends of our nation and the people who have come to America with their talents, skills, hopes and dreams. The statement is clearly racist and silence by our representatives betrays their oath of office and the constituents they serve.
We ask that Senator Toomey, Representatives Costello, Meehan and Smucker immediately and publicly state their opposition to the President statement and the views underlying it.
It is our custom to call these officeholders, “The Honorable…” Please live up to the trust your voters placed in you to represent their values and interests.
