The 45th President of the United Stated of America was officially impeached by the House of Representative on December 18th, 2019. Next step is to send Articles of Impeachment to the Senate for the trial to remove the president from office. Chief Justice Roberts will preside and Majority Leader of the Senate, Mitch McConnell has already stated that he is not on board with removing the president or even having a fair trial with witnesses.
