Clean Energy Town Hall Forum

WHAT: Climate change and its solutions are rooted here at home. Pennsylvania produces nearly 1% of the world’s carbon pollution and is the third largest carbon producer in the nation. This isn’t by accident. Our state houses one of the oldest and dirtiest fleets of coal fired power plants in the nation and we are reaping the consequences. We now have the ability to move past the dirty energy that is hurting our communities, our health, and our climate. Clean energy industries like wind and solar are already employing more people than the fossil fuel industry and it’s high time for Pennsylvania to lead. We will be bringing clean energy professionals together with experts to talk about how we can advance clean energy at the state and local levels. We will also be having a question and answer portion where the audience can learn more about what we could be doing right now to invest in Pennsylvania’s clean energy future. Our PA Representatives are being invited.
