Our ‘deaths’ will symbolize the millions of American lives that will be lost if the Affordable Care Act is repealed.
The passage of the AHCA would result in the loss of healthcare for millions of Americans. Children, the elderly and people with disabilities are most at risk. We will die-in to Protect Our Care in our fight to save American lives.
The die-in will last for 7 minutes (ACA has been in place for 7 years) at 11:45am. Our program will begin at 11:00am with presentations by local politicians and healthcare experts.
We will gather in the Artillery Park parking lot of Valley Forge National Park. (GPS coordinates 40.094145, -75.449266)
Directions from the park entrance at 23 (Valley Forge Road) and North Gulph Road:
After you enter the park, at the first stop sign stay to the left to stay on North Outer Line Drive
Follow N Outer Line Drive out to Gulph Road, take a right on Gulph Road (a little over a mile)
In about a ½ mile (.6 of a mile) turn left on East Inner Line Drive
The parking area for Artillery Park will be approximately .2 of a mile from Gulph Road on your left.
