Gov Wolf: Halt Mariner Now!
When Governor Wolf met with residents impacted by the Mariner East pipeline, he said that he would not halt the dangerous project. That’s not an acceptable answer. Our communities are not collateral damage.
When he spoke with residents, Governor Wolf acknowledged that all of these inherent problems with the pipeline: planning, construction, and operations are all flawed. We demand a governor with honesty and integrity. We demand that Gov Wolf act to Halt Mariner Now.
Mariner is part of a larger context. Fracking, pipelines, and cracker plants put our communities at unsafe levels of risk now and will continue to do so in the future. Governor Wolf needs to start protecting the health welfare and safety by halting Mariner now.
