On Sunday, March 18th, Indivisible Chester County’s monthly meeting will feature “A Conversation on Guns in America,” a moderated discussion that will explore differing perspectives on the topic. In the wake of the Parkland mass-shooting tragedy, Americans on all sides of this issue have been coming together to build consensus around what can be done to protect our children.
Laura Haggerty Fletcher of Moms Demand Action, Ann Colby-Cummings of Gun Sense Chester County, and a local gun owner will each present their views.
The participants will make opening statements and then answer a series of questions written by ICC’s leadership team. Questions from the audience will be fielded during the final portion.
Ms. Fletcher says she “hopes to share that those of us who are working to prevent gun violence are interested in common sense solutions, and are nonpartisan and respect the 2nd Amendment.”
The conversation will start at 5:00 PM at the Charles A Melton Arts and Education Center in West Chester PA.
