It has come to our attention that there is going to be another cross burning hosted and attended by members of the KKK, National Socialist Movement (neo-nazis), and Nationalist Front. These far right groups, among others have been attempting to recruit and organize throughout the country especially since the election of trump last year. We don’t know many details of their event, but we’re assuming it’s somewhere outside the main area of town probably on private property.
Unlike these far right extremists, we will be gathering together in public to show that Lancaster County will not tolerate or allow this kind of hate and bigotry to set root and grow. We stand united regardless of color, religion, ethnicity, sexuality or anything else. Our communities are stronger when we embrace our differences and we will not let fear and hate divide us!
We will be assembling at Memorial Park, located near the Elementary School, on the north side of the pool. We will start the event at 12 noon, bring signs, chants, friends, and family. See you there!
