We are hosting a Meet and Greet fundraiser for MOLLY SHEEHAN at our home:
MOLLY SHEEHAN is a serious candidate running in the Democratic Primary! The winner of that primary will challenge the Republican chosen to replace Pat Meehan, who, in addition to being a rubber stamp for extreme rightwing policies has recently announced he will not run because of a sexual harassment scandal. This is not what a majority of Pennsylvania voters expected, and certainly not what voters of the 7th District want from their Representative! Molly will go to the US House of Representatives and ACTUALLY REPRESENT THE PEOPLE!!!
While we would like you to consider a contribution, that is not required for your attendance. We believe that once you get to know Molly Sheehan, you will want to support her and her campaign and there are many ways to do that. We will be helping to collect the required signatures of registered voters living in District 7, to get Molly on the ballot. While the required number of signatures is 1,000, the campaign goal is 3,000! The window to collect those signatures was February 13 to March 6th. However, given the State Supreme Court’s recent decision to strike down the Congressional districts this period will be postponed but it will be good to organize for when the dates are announced.
We cannot allow for another Republican like Pat Meehan to win this seat!!! Together we can elect a true representative of the people with integrity and principals that bring honor and civility to governing. Molly will speak loudly for us all!
