Senator Toomey continues to choose profits over Pennsylvanians. He led the push for the Senate bill’s deep Medicaid cuts, as he ignores the fact that 1 in 5 Pennsylvanians rely on Medicaid and 700,000 Pennsylvanians gained coverage thanks to the program’s expansion.
He falsely claims the ACA is failing while insurance companies rake in record profits and he accepts more than $350,000 from his fat cat donors in the insurance and pharmaceutical industries, who stand to gain billions in tax cuts at the expense of the rest of us.
