We’ll be in the picnic and games area on West Union St. between South Brandywine St. and South Bradford Ave.

As in September, we’ll have various displays and activities such as the ever-popular bat houses, environmental games, music, and patriotic parade of decorated bicycles. Please encourage kids to arrive with bikes bedecked (or we can supply decoration items on site) to celebrate our country and its freedoms ….including of course the right to speak up and act against outside threats to our health and environment!

Please bring your own picnic food, utensils, and drinks (no alcohol). We will supply cups and plates. We’ll have the restroom key.

What do we have to celebrate?

  • A 2016 summer of fewer mosquitoes and no spraying in West Chester
  • Our efforts are branching out in neighboring communities, and some of our members from outside the Borough will be with us.
  • Renewed consciousness of people standing up to threats against environmental and human health in American life today.
  • The start of summer picnic season !!!

We’ll also be  bringing you up to date on plans for pushing back both mosquitoes and pesticides this summer.  And of course, we count on your energy and support. We local, like-minded people must stick together to defend our part of the vast world.

In case of threatening weather, please check our website https://dontsprayme.com/ for any updates and rain date if needed. (See also lots of other relevant info there.)
